Le Versant Viognier (75cl)


Le Versant is a collection of diverse varietal wines from Les Vignobles Foncalieu, a wine making cooperative in the heart of Languedoc. The winemakers of Foncalieu work hard to maintain shared values of authentivcity, innovation, and common passion for the region and its wines. The cooperative is considered one of the 50 most recognisable wine brands in the world, according to Drinks International Magazine.


Their Viognier displays intense apricot, peche de vigne and rose flavours, with hints of ginger and mints. Strong and generous on the palate, developing towards a smooth and fruity finish.


Masseria Borgo Dei Trulli Primitivo IGP (75cl)


In the ‘heel of Italy’s boot’, in the Salento region of Puglia, lies Masseria Borgo dei Trulli. The winery takes its name from the plural of ‘Trullo’, traditional Puglian dry stone huts that were mainly used as field shelters or storehouses by Saracen populations hundreds of years ago. 


Home to dark, thickskinned black grape varieties, this vineyard is over 55 years old and yields are limited to less than 1kg of grapes per vine. Intense ruby in colour, this Primitivo displays aromas of black cherries, prunes, spice and white pepper. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, velvety and elegant, with soft yet firm tannins and a long, lingering finish.


Quickes Cloth-bound Mature Cheddar (200g)


Handcrafted using milk from grass-fed cows, clothbound and naturally matured, typically for 12-15 months, this Cheddar offers outstanding depth of flavour, which develops as it reaches the back of the palate. Brothy to grassy to caramel notes, it's a Great Taste Award winner and held a Silver Award at The World Cheese Awards.


Shepherd's Purse Northern Blue (200g)


A powerhouse blue cheese with serious credentials. Deliciously creamy and luxuriously more-ish, Northern Blue was launched in 2019 as the more powerful and more mature brother to Yorkshire Blue. Aged for a minimum of 10 weeks, we use a stronger strain of Penicillium Roquefort to achieve a more robust blue flavour.


Winning a Silver at the World Cheese Awards, Northern Blue is recognisable as a Shepherds Purse signature blue cheese and its extra strength will also please those who like a bit more bite to their blue.


Blanche Truffled Goats Cheese (200g)


Blanche has been busy collecting awards too - awarded Gold in the Best Goat Cheese category at the 2018 British Cheese Awards and Silver for Best Soft Cheese in 2017. As well as three Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards 2017.


At two weeks old, there’s a perfumed aroma of dark forest honey on the nose, which carries over in the final flavour - think honeysuckle, herbs and a peppery tingle. The cheese intensifies as it matures but still retains it’s texture making it perfect for slicing and grilling.


Miller's Damsel Biscuits (125g)


Hand-baked wafers made from 100% unbleached flour. These crunchy and wheaty wafers made with stoneground flour, grown and milled in England.


Dunkeld Islay cure smoked salmon (100g)


Classic cold smoked salmon which has been infused with a 16 years old single malt whisky from Lagavulin on the island of Islay. The result of this wonderful combination is a slightly smokier salmon with a hint of whisky.


A small family run artisan smokehouse situated near the banks of the River Tay in the beautiful historic village of Dunkeld, Perthshire, the Smokehouse first began smoking 40 years ago. Each fish is individually cured by hand in small batches before being slowly smoked in kilns over whisky barrel chips and oak dust giving the salmon a unique flavour and texture. Dunkeld are totally committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing and their traditional cold smoked and hot smoked salmon has been served to the Queen.
